  • Approach to the main learning theories for the mobile digital age.

  • Exploration of learning contexts mediated by mobile technologies, to understand how the tablet and smartphone can be used as teaching and learning tools;

 

Module 2: Exploring mobile devices as personal tools in the educational process

October 31st - 3PM

 

  • Exploring basic navigation commands, configuration, native apps for mobile devices. 

  • Discover how to flip the classroom and personalize learning by creating a website (Weebly) and a blog (Blogger); 

  • Audience Response System - Kahoot

 

 

Module 3: Managing learning environments mediated by mobile devices and creating interactive activities on mobile Web 2.0

November 22nd - 7 am

 

  • Tools for communication and collaborative writing (todaysmeet.com; titanpad.com);

  • Create learning environments through productivity suites (Google Drive, OneDrive and Zoho); 

  • Explore immediate response systems (GoSoapBox).

Module 4: Creating and Publishing a Classroom for Mobile Devices Using a Webquest

December 6th - 7 am

  • Explore apps to create Flashcards - StudyBlue

  • Use productivity apps: Educreation, QuickVoice, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Animoto, Tellagami, Padlet, Polaris Office, Prezi , Symbaloo... 

  • Learning how to develop and share a class, through a Webquest on a Blog.

  • Publish ebooks (Calaméo, Issuu, Yudu, Flipsnack, web-book... )

  • Podcast (Audioboom, Podomatic)
