Transversal Projects with Educational Robotics (25h)
Robotics, although emerging, has been asserting itself as a pedagogical tool over the last few years. The great technological development and evolution in robot construction and programming technologies. The enthusiasm of all those who already use it is undeniable, many questions remain open about the use of robotics in pedagogical activities.
The design of learning scenarios using robots has proven to be a strategic resource that allows increasing a set of skills such as critical thinking and problem solving.
Considering the concept of educational technology from a broader perspective, the use of robots has been considered an excellent means of teaching and learning, highlighting the importance of the activity of construction and manipulation of concrete objects.
Goals to achieve
This training action intends that teachers become able to:
i) Identify, within the scope of their subject areas, situations that allow them to create learning scenarios with the use of educational robotics in the classroom context;
ii) Design and implement learning scenarios in their subject area, organizing them using more active teaching methodologies, integrating robots;
iii) Analyze, evaluate and reflect on the implementation of the designed learning scenarios. Through the teacher's involvement in the design and implementation of learning scenarios, it is intended to stimulate the process of reflection on the pedagogical practice of each teacher and build an individual vision about the role that robots can have in the teaching and learning process.
Introduction to Educational Programming and Robotics through computer applications (25h)
