Digital portfolio for educational purposes

 

OBJECTIVES TO ACHIEVE

The successful attendance of this action will promote the following skills, knowledge and attitudes in the trainee:
•    Adoption of a reflective posture that balances the educational potential of e-portfolios.
•    Knowledge of the advantages of integrating learning e-portfolios and professionals in education.
•    Use of the e-portfolio as a tool at the service of transversality to the curriculum.
•    Valuing an investigative and critical stance on supports and good practices for the development of e-portfolios for educational purposes.
•    Recognition of the state of the art in this field, with regard to national and international experiences and tools for the design and publication of e -portfolios.
•    Capacidade de análise das especificidades e necessidades para a conceção, publicação e integração na comunidade escolar of e-portfolios.
•    Training of management skills, dynamization and monitoring of learning according to this new work methodology.
•    Adoption of transversal teaching practices that enhance student involvement in practical work using ICT.

Khan Academy offers hands-on exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized teaching dashboard to empower students to study at at their own pace, inside and outside the classroom. Topics like math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and much more. Students are guided from kindergarten math assignments to advanced calculus using adaptive technology that identifies  each student's strengths and learning gaps. They have  partnered with institutions such as NASA, the Museum of Modern Art, the California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to deliver specialized content.
